CentricsIT named one of Atlanta’s Top Workplaces for third consecutive year
Work-life flexibility and growth opportunities listed as strengths

ATLANTA, Apr. 29, 2013—CentricsIT has been named one of Atlanta’s Top 100 Workplaces for the third consecutive year. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ranked the enterprise IT solutions provider 44th in the small business category, and the company was one of only 14 small companies to pull off a three-peat.

CentricsIT was listed in a special section of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Sunday, Apr. 28 and is currently profiled on the publication’s website (http://ajc.topworkplaces.com/frontend.php/regional-list/company/ajc/centricsit). The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program was based on feedback from an employee survey that CentricsIT staff based in Atlanta completed in the Fall.

“In the three years that we have appeared on the Top Workplaces list, we have hired 58 employees—many of them outside of Atlanta,” said Derek Odegard, President of CentricsIT. “We work hard to maintain the progressive culture we have all come to enjoy and appreciate, and because our workplace standards extend to all our worldwide offices, we share this recognition with our employees around the world.”

The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 37 major publishing partners. Over the past year, more than 5,000 organizations and 1 in every 88 employees in the U.S. have turned to WorkplaceDynamics to better understand what’s on the minds of their employees.

CentricsIT achieved high scores for work-life balance and the quality of its job positions, substantiating the notion that people who choose to work at CentricsIT choose to stay there. Two thirds of the company’s current employees have been employed at CentricsIT for two or more years. One anonymous survey response reads, “I like the play hard, work hard environment. There is a relaxed overall atmosphere that makes you enjoy what you do.”

CentricsIT executive leadership attended an awards reception at Cobb Energy Performance Arts Center on Wednesday, Apr. 24, where they accepted a commemorative plaque on the company’s behalf.
