FixIT: The IBM error code B3030001 indicates that the communication link between the services processor and the Hardware Management Console has failed. In order to solve the problem, check the connections on the switch, server and HMC. The error could be a temporary condition caused by either the HMC or the system to which the HMC is connected being shut down, restarted, upgraded, or subjected to some other intermittent conditions. While attempts are made only to report these errors when a connection has been lost, it is still important to follow the procedures in the symbolic FRU list to determine if there is still a connection problem.
