ATLANTA, October 24, 2019—CentricsIT, a global leader in IT lifecycle management solutions, donated more than $2,000 worth in pre-configured computers through its philanthropic program Centrics Cares to Rainbow Village, a local nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and domestic violence.

Rainbow Village, located in Duluth, GA, transforms the lives of homeless families with children by providing a stable community and services that instill initiative, self-development, and accountability for future generations. They strive to be a national model of an education and holistic approach to breaking the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and domestic violence. Rainbow Village’s safe housing community hosts up to 30 families and offers empowerment training such as workforce development, economic education, success coaching, and life skills workshops.

The donated computers will enable the children of the families in Rainbow Village to work on coursework after school and give the adults additional access to employment resources.

“At CentricsIT, we believe we have a responsibility to the communities that raised us,” says Derek Odegard, CEO and Co-Founder of CentricsIT. “We’re honored to have the opportunity to support Rainbow Village in their mission to help families in need.”

Centrics Cares was launched in 2012 as the company-sponsored charitable initiatives program of CentricsIT. Since the company’s inception in 2007, it has supported numerous charities and philanthropic ventures.
