ATLANTA, August 3, 2017 – CentricsIT connected with MUST Ministries to help enable a summer lunch program that provides lunches for kids who receive free or reduced lunches throughout the year, but might not receive regular meals outside of the school year.
CentricsIT employees turned the office into a kitchen and lined the hallways with tables. They spent the entire workday making nearly 500 lunches for these children.
“Working with MUST Ministries was a very rewarding opportunity for our employees,” said Patrick Kueller, Executive Vice President of Global Services. “The meals we made will have an impact on each of these children, and we are grateful for that. We hope to inspire generosity and kindness in the community through our acts of charity.”
Without volunteers like CentricsIT, MUST Ministries wouldn’t be what it is today. Volunteers outnumber staff members 80 to 1, and they are a huge part of the lasting impact MUST Ministries has on families all over Georgia.
MUST Ministries is a growing volunteer organization that has nearly 10,000 volunteers working towards its mission of “serving our neighbors in need and transforming lives and communities in response to Christ’s call.” There are a multitude of volunteer opportunities within the organization.
