What is the PDT Full Memory Error in MP SL Logs?

This is a critical level-five error and will present itself commonly during system boot. The error occurs in the page deallocation table (PDT) which is where the system logs all single and multiple bit memory errors. The procedure below will show you how to clear the PDT from the shell prompt which will resolve the error.

Note: The PDT table can be cleared, however it is best to record its contents before clearing. Too many errors on the same DIMM could lead to an unstable system. CentricsIT can check and replace the eventual bad DIMM(s) in order to avoid system crashes in the future.

Once these steps are completed, you will be prompted to verify you want to clear the PDT. Once you select the ‘yes’ option , reboot your system and your issue should be resolved.
