CentricsIT receives GLOBE award from Georgia Department of Economic Development
Award recognizes organizations for entering new international markets in 2013

ATLANTA, Ga., Feb. 19 2014—The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) presented CentricsIT with a GLOBE (Georgia Launching Opportunities By Exporting) Award during the Go Global Reception on Monday, Feb. 17. Jan Zalud, Regional Director of CentricsIT Europe, accepted the award on the company’s behalf, and Georgia Governor Nathan Deal presented the awards at a ceremony held at the InterContinental Buckhead. The GLOBE award recognizes Georgia companies that have successfully ventured into new international markets in the past year. In addition to the award recipients, Georgia international representatives from 11 strategic global markets covering 37 countries attended the reception.

CentricsIT, a global IT hardware and solutions provider, currently has satellite offices in Toronto, Dubai, Prague, London, and Mumbai, and has future plans to expand to Singapore. In 2013, Jan Zalud transitioned from an Account Executive role to Regional Director of CentricsIT Europe in Prague. He is spearheading the company’s efforts to continue aggressive expansion abroad.

“Technology infrastructure spending in global emerging IT markets comprises almost double that of the US,” explained Patrick Keuller, Vice President of Global Sales for CentricsIT. “CentricsIT operates with a progressive mindset and we hope to take advantage of the growth in these regions as we expand our global footprint.”

While new and remarketed technology sales were the initial focus of the CentricsIT global business model, the company has expanded to offer data center maintenance services, asset consignment programs, hardware rentals, and asset disposition.
