ATLANTA, December 12, 2017 – CentricsIT partnered with the Salvation Army to give back to children in need. The Angel Tree is an annual holiday tradition organized by the Salvation Army to bring the joy of Christmas to those have rarely experienced it. The organization partners with local volunteers to collect gifts for the families in need during the holiday season.

This is the fourth consecutive year CentricsIT has displayed a Christmas Tree in its office and decorated it with around 25 “Angel Tree Tags.” These tags provide the name of a child in need, his or her age, gender, and wish list. Employees are encouraged to select a tag, and purchase an item to donate to an angel.

The Salvation Army provides bins at each office where the items are collected. At the beginning of December, the bins are picked up and taken to the warehouse to be sorted through and then distributed throughout the community.

“This annual tradition is something that means so much to our employees here at CentricsIT,” said CentricsIT Vice President of Operations, Pete Bohman. “It’s an incredible feeling knowing that we are able to change the spirit of these children during the holiday season, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.”

The Salvation Army serves nearly 20,000 children around the world whose families struggle during the holiday season. With the help of volunteers like CentricsIT, the holiday season becomes a little bit easier for these children and their families.
